The jockey room at Oaklawn Jockey Club in Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, is actually several rooms where the jockeys can relax between races playing cards, shooting pool, or watching television. Their equipment is stored there and kept in good repair by valets, and light meals are provided. Their physical well-being is also seen to, from weight control to treatment for injuries.
